A: Yes, but in limited way. Read about 3D actives and OpenGL object.

You should really use OGG for music and not midi or mp3.

The manual (Help->Contents) covers most of what people need to know to use MMF.

I read the manual! I think it should be done after every major software purchase. Just make your FAQ say:

    Q: Should I read FAQ?
A: No, just read the manual (Help->Contents).

See, it goes both ways? :P

Actually, i think most people do read the MMF help files etc. I don't see why anyone would ignore them, or why anyone would choose a "FAQ" thread instead. I also don't see why this FAQ should be pinned when there is a far more functional search feature at the top of the forums.

Funny, MMF2 actually does come with a manual too. Whether or not people read it or even still have it is up to them, but it does come with a manual that goes over the basics.

Darkhog, the best thing to do is host your FAQ on a server, so it would always be there, and give everyone the link. That way you can update it as you please and let everyone know.

These forums are good FAQ's just from the postings. An FAQ section would become repetitive and very large, and in some cases, would just be echoing questions and answers from the postings.

Re: !MULTIMEDIA FUSION FAQ! - please pin that topic

I usually read FAQs. The manual is a reference document. It should provide detailed information about all functions of the software, which is usually a lot of redundant information - whereas an FAQ contains the stuff people usually have problems with, and thus the things I REALLY need to know, which, if I'm a beginner too, I'm likely to stumble into as well.

Both the manual (that details all functions) and FAQs (that actually contain questions that ARE asked FREQUENTLY) serve a different but useful purpose.
