    top down physics with the physics extension?

    Is it possible to simulate physics with the physics object on a top dwon view?

    oh yes,

    so basically just have to specify no x or y gravity (or set it to 0) and then work as normal, right?

    You will also need to apply some sort of damping to fake ground friction.
