This widget makes popup messages "slide" up and down like on MSN, AVG, etc.

How to use:
---------------

Drop the Slider Popup Widget and the Slider Popup Graphic objects into your frame.
Create a seperate frame and drop the Backdrop Object into this frame. (Note: Make sure you set the Slider Popup Graphic Object "Frame Nunber" Property to the frame that you added the Backdrop Object to, and make sure to resize that frame equal to your graphics.)

*Slider Popup Values:*

Popup Side: 0 = Display popup on left side of screen, 1= Display popup on right side of screen.
X Offset: The amount to offset the X coordinates of the popup.
Y Offset: The amount to offset the Y coordinates of the popup.
Show Timer: The amount of time to show the popup. (Does not count slide up or down time)
Popup Speed: The speed in which the popup will slide up. (open)
PopDown Speed: The speed in which the popup will slide down. (close)
Show Popup: 0 = Don't Show Popup at Start of Frame/Destroy Popup, 1 = Show Popup at Start of Frame/Show the Popup.

Whoa! That's awesome! Can you set a transparent on the sub-app?

You can set transparency on your graphic in the subapp, not sure about the actual subapp.

Here is a quick example program using the Slider Popup Widget that will show a fake movie ad for a few seconds, then the app will close automatically.

By the way, would anyone want me to add the ability to have these sliding popups come down from the top of the screen as well? Or maybe even slide out from each side of the screen? :grin:

I might use it. Or even better, within the game screen!! Could be useful for tutorials, or alert messages.
