extension install problem

Hello I downloaded a example and it requires the "bigbox.mfx" I installed the file to the C:\Program Files\clickteam\Extensions folder and I restarted MMF2 and the same error occours any ideas?
btw Im running the latest build of MMF2(248) and widnows vista basic. thank you

Is the extension self install? If not, in the zip file you will find a runtime folder, and extension folder. You have to manually place these in the proper folders within the MMF directory under Runtime and Extensions. For example programfiles/mmf2/extensions.

Actually, you can just extract the ZIP file to the MMF2 directory. It's much easier than doing it manually.

I tried that once, and my computer wanted to overwrite the folders (Copy and Replace), add a new set of folders (Copy but Keep Both), or just not copy (Cancel). Stupid Vista!

that works for me

besure when you move the extensoins, the one in the extension zip folder goes to the extension folder in the program files and the runtime file goes to the runtime folder in program files..

i still have to move around some extensions because of this mistake

Apparently this extension requires the MS VC 2005 runtime library. If it's not installed on your machine that won't work. Install it from microsoft.com and retry :
