I need to get the output of an external command prompt. How would I go about doing that?

Wouldn't the Commandline$ Function do this in the special object? Forgive me if this is a stupid answer I don't know .NET

You can use Pipe and Console object (I prefer Pipe cause Console is a little buggy).

Command line is the text after the adress of a file in a shortcut, it has noting to do with Command Promt.
