The Unicode version should be released as an upgrade patch for the normal version, in theory pretty soon.

We would LOVE to test the unicode english version. I am playing around (and was about to post questions on UTF-8) support in MMF 2 Dev. Am I correct to assume that displaying Unicode (UTF-8 specifically) characters is not supported in build 248?

Yes, you are correct.

The tests of the Unicode version are over, the beta version has expired. We have to complete the release version (installer, documentation, etc).

So if, say, a team (hypothetically, of course) was looking to release a game with this support in, say, Mid-May, do you think that team might (hypothetically) have access to this feature before then?

I agree - and the Japanese site looks awesome too! Hopefully other regional sites will be updated like that in the near future too.
