    Position of objects on screen

Is there an action in the events editor that I can use to make an object stay in the top left corner of the visible screen? If so what is it?

Just position the object in question at the top left corner, then go into its properties. There should be a "follow the frame" check box. Uncheck that box, and the object will always stay in that top left position.

Yes, you can set the x and y position of and object through the event editor. Though I am a but uncertain what you are really asking here.

If you mean for scrolling games, how to make one object stay put on the screen while the rest moves, simply go to its property window and deselect Follow the frame.

To do the same thing through events, set it's x an y position relative to the game window's visible left and top edge. You find those values under the Storyboard icon after you click the Retrive value from object button in the expression editor.

You can also add a layer with scroll coefficients of 0. This will make the whole layer stay in the same place.

I don't think you understand what I am asking. I want to keep the object in the top left corner of the screen as it scrolls so it can be seen at all times. but i dont want it to leave the frame at all.

    Otherwise:

    *Always
-Set X Position of Object to X Left Frame
-Set Y Position of Object to Y Top Frame

    ?

    Oh, Dynasoft's way works, too.

Just untick 'follow the frame' in the object properties and sets its position to where you want.
