Attaching a MMF2 file to an email?

    *noob alert*

I'm trying to attach a MMF2 file to the email to send to my friend with Multimedia Fusion 2, but it doesn't work. Any ideas why?

Email does restrict different types of files, trying zipping it first rather than sending it as mfa.

Yes, just make sure you don't upload/send a shortcut of the file. That is what I had problems with.

OK, so how do I zip it, and then does my friend have to unzip it?

Right click on the file and click Send To. In that submenu click Compressed File (Zip). This will create a .zip file. Your friend will probably know what to do, you just open the zip like a folder and either open the .mfa or drag it onto your desktop or another folder.

Even as a zip it won't attach. It just says 0kb/25mb and doesn't go anywhere.

It could be a problem with your internet connection or something. You could host it on mediafire.com and send him a link, that'd be a lot easier. I find sending anything larger than and image via email slows down Outlook a lot for a few minutes.

Maybe you can't send large files. My company, which is heavy into internet has a limit auf 8MB on attachments. Just use a free file hosting provider like www.mediafire.com or www.rapidshare.com or find one on your own to host your file and send the link to your friend.
