shooting at a mouse object with left click

i have an active controlled with a mouse object (as characters aim). my character always look in direction of object, that works. but i have another event that says upon left click have my character shoot a bullet at the aim pad, but when i click it does not shoot, please help

If I were you I would use "Always - set X position of Mouse object to XMouse and Y position to YMouse" instead of the mouse movement.
As for your problem, can you upload it?

Hmm. one more thing ricky how do i change where it shoots from, i tried changing the action point but no go

Edit the create option, go into more options, and select originating from action point
