    Level-Save Object

this object is neat, but I'm not completely satisfied with the saving. Would it be possible to add encryption? Or do you want people to manually encrypt the file after saving and decrypt it before loading using another extension?

I tried to add encryption, and failed. So until I succeed, unfortunately you will have to do it yourself.

Jaffob, for me encryption is no big deal. People will do what they are going to do, to pick apart an application. Encryption or not.

    Re: Level-Save Object

Looking good. What about re-ordering objects? I can't see an easy way of doing it. Would be nice if possible, to have:

    * Swap object A with B (swap display order around in list)
    * Move object A back one
    * Move object A to back
    * Move object A forward one
    * Move object A to front
    * Move all of type X back/forward/tofront/toback etc
    * ReOrder all / or of type / based on X or Y position

    Re: Level-Save Object

And how about opening the source of this ext.? If the source will be opened, this will be mean faster development, because, when Jaffob can't do someting, the other developer can do it.

    Re: Level-Save Object

That would be an interesting idea but Clickteam did contract Jaffob to build this and we need to keep the source files in check so we can be sure its compatable with future versions.

I am sure when Jaffob has a chance to work on an update for this he will gather up all the ideas and research any areas he needs to learn about to be able to get those into the object.

Thats a great move by Clickteam, Jaffob makes great extensions. Hopefully this will be the first of many projects like this and maybe we will get to see some user requested extensions happen in the future also.
