    enemy follow player?

    Hi, I want to make the enemies in my game follow the player, but avoid walls and other obstacles. I tried using the move-it object but the enemies go through the walls when they follow the player. Please help!

    Maybe, set the movement of the enemy to a ball movement, and have them do a random direction if colliding with a wall. there are also some great AI examples in the File Archive sub-forum.

    You can also use the pathfinding object, random directions with ball mvement really is random and could still go through the wall.

    There are examples in your MMF2 example folder. If that doesn't help let me know because I have a very handy examle available.
