MMF functions not working upon install

I've been making a game using MMF2 and everything works fine in the program. When I go to install it to test a demo for people to download, however, one of the functions does not work. After I install the demo and go to launch it, the player is unable to throw grenades. The function works in the program but not in the installed demo. I have it set in the events editor to where when the player is standing still and has grenades selected and presses the fire button, a grenade with a path movement will be created and it works fine in MMF but not in the installed demo. I updated mmf2 yesterday and that's when this started happening. Is there some new option I need to find to make this work in game? Is there something I have overlooked that needs to be present for installed programs to be able to create objects that are set to be destroyed at the start of the frame?

Re: MMF functions not working upon install

What build number does it work right in?
    248 or something lower?

If its only broken in the beta of 249 here is what to do.
1 - Use 248 for your released game

2 - Report and send in an example file showing the problem to Clickteam. You can email it in or posts an MFA of the example in the file archive.

I reverted back to build 239 and now it crashed when I tried to exit the demo, and then it crashes upon every launch of the demo.exe

Whoa version 239 is way to old.
You at least want to be using build 248

Its on the side bar ---- >

Just because a person had a similar problem -- Are you using external graphics in this game? You have to remember to send those along with your EXE. You also have to be sure you don't have them hard coded to your hard drive.

I don't think thats your issue but I am throwing it out there. If you want us to look at the MFA file that would most likely solve the problem the fastest.
