What am i doing wrong with these basic collision?

Hello, its a very basic problem using the PMO.

When i walk to a a backdrop (the green squares and the red one), i actually go thru it and start moving up, heres the file so you can watch the project and tell me whats wrong, i followed every step of one PMO tutorial.

Note: The link can only be downloaded 10 times, and its a basic PMO, includes a character and backdrops, so i hope that if you download it, you can explain what im doing wrong

You are testing for collision with the Platform Movement Object - that much is working fine. The problem is, you are repositioning your object outside of the platform movement object, so the collision doesn't actually stop movement.

I have modified your file slightly so that the platform movement object is handling the movement:
