    Managing lots of backdrops?

My game only uses a single frame with 3 parallax layers. I resorted to using backdrops for the parallax layers, since the coefficient scrolling only seems to work on them. I need to find a way to be able to swap out the backdrops every few levels. I don't want to resort to duplicating the frame so I wondered if there was some MMF functionality that can manage backdrops so you can load/swap them?

You can drag objects from the aoolication tree control from one frame into the frame you're in currently, but I don't know about 'swapping' backdrops.

if the backdrops are tilebased, you could use an active and have it add backdrops to that layer, and then later you can "clear all created backdrops" and do it again except use a different direction/animation...

Sadly, they are not tilebased. But maybe I can use the active object method to create new backdrops each level. Thanks for the idea.
