Not really, but I suppose if you use the flash export you could make one by just making a simple wrapper. They are just made in HTML/Javascript/etc. and so you could embed it.

Just as an extension to that, I think if you use V then you can send Javascript commands to the main window? If so, then you can save data like that as, IIRC, Gadgets have an extra view Javascript commands which help you do this.
It was ages ago since I made any Gadgets so I don't entirely remember but you can find out more on the Microsoft website, or by bugging me.
