I don't get Fast Loops, please help.

Well I thought I understood it but now I don't think so. I read in DavidN tutorial that the screen will be redrawn when Normal Loop finished. So if I have a Fast Loop in the middle of the Normal Loop, that Loops 5 times and then each Loop move -1 Vertical pixel, in the end I will just see move the Object 1 time 5 pixels, instead of seeing the process of being "up".

But if you check this example:

The Fast-Loop loops the value of the Grav have, so let's say 3. I don't see the object just move 3 pixels, I can see the process of being moved.

    Check that this:
    Grav of ("Player") < 10
    - Set Grav to Grav("Player")+0.7
is out of the fast loop, so it is just read when a normal loop happen. How could Grav be modified in the fast loop if the fast loop just read the lines that have On loop "gravity"?

I hope you can help me, thanks.

Re: I don't get Fast Loops, please help.

MMF reads events from the top down. So all he is doing is modifying gravity if needed then the next event will call the gravity loop.
The fastloop is simply an event that can be called -immediately- rather than waiting for it to be read by MMF parser. Its just like a normal event in that it can modify and influence objects although it very fast so you will only see the end result.

    For example, with...
    +Always
    - Add 1 to counter
...you will see the counter increase by 1 every frame.

    If you instead did...
    +Counter<100
    -Start loop 'counter' 100 times

    +OnLoop("counter")
    -Add 1 to counter
...you will see the results instantly.
