    Description
    An RPG (Role Playing Game) / RTS (Real Time Strategy) game engine made in Multimedia Fusion 2.

    - Selectable units
    - Issuable orders to units

    - Select box by clicking and dragging
    - Mini-map with live updating and navigation
    - Varying terrain including rivers, forests, roads and rocks

    No source included as yet. I want to have all the code clearly commented before uploading the source. Theres obviously a lot more work that needs to be done, such as battles, high ground, enemy AI etc, but at the moment it's a work in progress. If you'd like to provide feedback on how well it runs or any problems encountered that would be very helpful.

    Good Example, you can select and move units, only thing we need now is enemies to fight and that would make it Excellent but the funny thing is...

    This looks pretty sweet.
    You should consider using HWA so the game runs faster. It currently runs at about 20 fps here - with HWA, even 200 fps should be no problem on most computers.

    Not too bad. The fog of war works really well but your game really seems to be too slow I was managing 40fps with only the 3 main units on screen.
    HWA should help you a lot though, but if you are using background images object I dont think that is compatible yet.
    The biggest downfall is that you have no pathfinding. Units looks like they are given ball movement and always walk towards thier target as I was getting stuck on buildings sometimes.

    Overall its looking pretty good. Glad to see more people attempting RTS games. Once my game gets to playable Alpha stage I will release a tech demo as well.

    If you have any RTS related questions Im happy to answer as I have been playing with RTS engines in MMF for years.

    I like it - very good looking and functional.

    However my laptop must be really slow if you guys are getting 40 fps. I'm only getting maximum of 12.
