How long have you been using ByetHost's free services for? This is the first time I've heard of the company.Originally Posted by RickyRombo

That's the only downfall - and it's really easy to get by. Just log on to your own site from different computers three times a month to be sure you meet the requirements.
Other than that, its a fine site as far as I can tell
What's slow? Ricky's website or ByetHost in general?Originally Posted by Jamie
Byethost. But there's no way of getting around that if you want to have a free host. I recommend http://atomicpages.net/ for hosting if you are willing to pay, which is a very good idea considering your purpose. Atomic Pages is made by everyone's favorite pet KetchupMaster from this forum and Gamebuilder (http://gamebuilder.info/ )
For the past three years or so I've been using DownTown Host .
Well Weka did say free host Jamie, and as far as any free hosts go, there's been no speed repercussions.
Byethost seems to go in and out of being any good or not and suffers from a login system that could be described as esoteric at best, but it's still the best free host that I've yet seen as far as features go. (X10Hosting looks like an attractive offer as well but requires you to log into the forums once a fortnight and has an uptime ratio of "comical")
I just found out that my first website with i12.com still exists O.o
You had to dial-in to them to upload anything. The website still says "i12 ADSL - i12 will be launching a new range of internet access services in August and September 2004" (and I last used them well before that). How the hell are they still going?
