    Just a special note to anyone else who comes across this thread and wants to do something similar with INI++ formatting, be aware that the Lua script removing tabs will break the subgroups option in INI++ because it looks for indented groups in order to rename the groups to subgroups, so by removing the tabs the extension can no longer detect indented subgroups.

    I updated INI++ to the latest version (april 2019 update) and I am having problems with unicode characters. New version can't no longer load unicode characters into fusion string, they are messed up after the load from ini. I looked for older version, I think it was 2017 - that one was able to do this. Could anyone provide link for the version before 2019? I used it before I updated this extension, I can no longer downgrade as all is done thru the manager.

    I downgraded INI 1.5++ back to 2017, version DL link is here: http://dark-wire.com/exts/IniPlusPlusv1.5.zip, still the same. one it the manager is more actual so I'll return to it. I think the reason why I was able to read unicode years ago with ini++ because I coded some way-around - probably the one that replaces symbols. Apologies, it never loaded unicode. I just need to code way-around again.

    Like mentioned previously in the thread, MMF Unicode was not a thing back when Jax made this extension. So I am not sure how you got Unicode characters to work at all...

    However some years ago, with his permission, @LB swiftly put together a new 1.6 version that supports Unicode, which is I what I am currently using today. If @LB and @Jax are cool with it maybe we can have a public download for that version somewhere?

    Be aware though, it is not complete or fully featured like previous Ini++ versions are. It was based on what I specifically asked for at the time. So certain actions/conditions/expressions does nothing. But if you're looking for the basic features like I did(and Unicode support) then it'll work great. It's been in my projects for years without issues.
