    [TEST] LuaFMOD

Very basic FMOD library for xlua. Only few fmod commands have been implemented(list in txt). Basically i was just looking for an easy way to play sounds directly in xlua. Any feedback(positive or negative) would be welcome.

Really nice. Seems to work well.
Are you going to implement more features, i.e. sound and DSP functions? That would be great.

Nice thanks i will have to take a look at this when i get time, it's great to see people making extra librarys available and i know a lot of games use this so it should be great.

    Re: [TEST] LuaFMOD

Wow i have just tested this now. The sound plays great and the command list is actually quite big already so it's just like having a new audio extension. If it has more commands like DSP functions it would be great to try those also, did you plan to add the others? In any case this is great, i will have to test out in more depth later but the examples show that this will be very nice.

Also im just wondering is there more in depth descriptions of the functions online somewhere? I get the basic idea for most from the list but others im not sure what they would do. Thanks

    Re: [TEST] LuaFMOD

DSP and Reverb are definitely on my "todo" list. But first i need to make sure that current version is working fine.
Also i was thinking about making it more object oriented. But that may be just wishful thinking on my part.

anyway here is help file for fmod

all descriptions of functions are under api reference/c++ interface

Nice thanks for the help file. DSP and effects like reverb will be really great, would be the first time available in MMF as far as i know also. It just shows how powerful XLua can be with these extra librarys.

...Where? That's just too vague. How am I supposed to search for it? All I can find is the Drag object.

    Re: [TEST] LuaFMOD

I just loaded up example 2 without any problems, theres no extra extensions but an active object with Drag and drop movement. I thought everyone has this as standard though, if your using a older version without it try installing one of the new betas maybe.
