    Cut scenes help

Hi, i want to add some cut-scenes to a platform game i'm working on and I was just wondering what the best way to add them would be:

Should I program the actions of individual characters and direct them like a play, or create some form of movie and just have it play through. An example of the sort of cut-scenes i'm thinking of would be the kind seen in the SNES game of Hook - so they wouldn't necessarily be very interactive just something to help the story progress.

any help would be greatly appreciated
    thanks

    Re: Cut scenes help

Figure i'll probably go for the movie option, so what's the best format for that sort of thing. I noticed Romeo and Juliet II (Disk 2 Bonus) uses some file type called FLC but i've never really heard of it and i don't think i have a program that outputs at that file type.

    any help would be appreciated.
    thanks
