    Any Extension for Midi?

I know I have seen this post before...but is there any extension developed that would midi-out control changes / or notes to a synth or drum machine?

Nope, but check Bidding Pool there is one thread about music extension so maybe you could talk there or with Kisguri about adding such options to it.

    Re: Any Extension for Midi?

I have requested this before, i did to a certain degree in the Bidding Pool thread recently also but mainly for midi input to control things inside MMF.

What nifflas was talking about was vst object which are played with midi so it's not the same thing and which is why i expanded on what he said as standard midi object would be great also. You could do it all in one though but it would be much better seperate and also allow you to cover everything midi allows then. If a dedicated midi object was added it should be able to handle playback, in/output, cc in/sends etc also i would hope.

Real (not just playing a midi file) Midi control/output would be great though, i know theres a few VJ apps which use it to control things and also games. So these days it's showing it can be used not just for music stuff also.

    Re: Any Extension for Midi?

Yeah true, although i think the bidding pool is mainly for clickteams extension requests but a lot of people comment on the ideas and add extra ideas.

If you can offer money for a extension it's possibly more likely to happen in the normal extension development area. You can request without offering money though but then it would probably need other users interest to get a devs attention. Just put [Request] at the start or end of the topic title and hopefully someone will take an interest, i think this would be a great extension to have though.

Atom - Thanks, I would love if someone made an extension with all the options you stated.
