    need help with screen capture object

    how do I capture a specific area of the frame using the screen capture object?

    Here is a quick (and ugly) little app that demonstrates how to capture a specific area.

    Drag & resize the window over the area of your screen where you want to take a screenshot. The preview button will refresh the window and give a "preview" of what your snapshot will look like. The snap button will take a snapshot.

    I'm not sure why, but sometimes you have to click the snap button a couple of times before it starts capturing. :P

    In the screen capture object settings, check the box that says "Capture selected area" and then scale and position the object to the area that you wish to capture.
