Simply enable depth testing using gl.Enable() and make sure to clear the depth buffer along with the color buffer at the top of the Draw function in the Lua script.

    To be exact, put
    gl.Clear(gl.DEPTH_BUFFER_BIT)
    under
    gl.Clear(gl.COLOR_BUFFER_BIT)

I think there is some bitwise operator library with which you could combine these two in xLua, but I frankly don't know how.

    gl.Clear(bit.bor(gl.COLOR_BUFFER_BIT, gl.COLOR_BUFFER_BIT)) probably

I think you can just pass multiple parameters to that function as an alternative (for luagl ... you can't do that in the normal gl API).

Re: OpenGL Texture object ( public beta )

Just wondering as the texture object was updated to texture bank does that mean the original texture object is not going to be developed now? Should i remove it now or is it worth keeping?

By the way if you want ideas for things one thing that would be really nice to have is loading from external .Zip and .7Z files for things like textures and models to save file space. Having the option to use these encrypted would be great also, maybe not at this stage but i can see something like that being very useful as the objects get developed more.

The texture bank object is meant to replace the original texture object, I won't continue working on the original object ( unless there is demand for it. ) I'd recommend you remove it.

Good idea, I'll keep it in mind.

Re: OpenGL Texture object ( public beta )

Cool concept with the texture bank. I assume the window on the right is supposed to be a preview window? But I don't see anything there at the moment.

Also @Mecha, the XLua documentation itself contains a reference for LuaGL (plus my LuaGL is very different than the official LuaGL now anyway .. the original reference wouldn't do you much good). Everything else you'll need to find in the OpenGL docs, but it's all linked from the reference I created.

Also I can confirm that gl.Clear does take a vararg so you can call gl.Clear(gl.COLOR_BUFFER_BIT, gl.DEPTH_BUFFER_BIT).

yes, Looki pointed me to the OpenGL docs a long time ago and it's really neat

And RII, there is meant to show something in the window to the right. At least, it does for me.
