With Vitalize! yes, but your apps would not be used by more than a dozen people (this is not a joke-- if your app is not made in Flash barely anyone will use it). When the Flash runtime comes then it will be a more probable yes, but it still remains to be seen if Clickteam implements the needed features.

The Facebook API stuff to interact with MMF2/flash runtime.

    Re: Facebook Apps

The Facebook API actually wouldn't be necessary... :P Just communication with the the browser's Javascript so that AJAX magic can happen. That's the most important feature, and as a note Vitalize! supports this too so it could be used now to make Facebook apps, just you would need to get someone to install the plugin which is a very slim chance. I've already sent Francois notes many months back on all of the features (most which are not hard to code in AS3) a professional would need from the Flash runtime.

You can have Java apps on Facebook (or any plugin for that matter), but it's the same dilemma as with the Vitalize! plugin: many more people have Flash installed than Java, and most people do not like playing Java games just because of the stigma related to them, so it's better to just use Flash.

Well at the moment we don't have flash, so Java will have to suffice. It doesn't matter if people don't like java, it's all we CAN use .
