Platform game Help: Jump through platform slopes

Hi,i was playing the New super mario brothers for Wii recently and the Ghost house in world 3 reminded me of Castlevania because of the stairs in that level.

So I was wondering does anyone know how i would create jump through slopes using the PMO object, or even without using the PMO object?

or is it just about as complicated as creating a whole staircase movement?

Wow your example blows mine right out of the water, i was using way to many detectors and stuff - basically i was over complicating things again.

Yours however is nice and simple just the way i like it, Thanks alot Rabagast it's a big help.
