    Rich Edit Object bug

The Rich Edit object has supplied us bountifully. However there is a screaming bug that would kill any app with a mention of Ctrl+R, Ctrl+E, or Ctrl+L.
If you select text in an readonly Rich Edit object and press Ctrl+R, Ctrl+E or Ctrl+L, it will reposition the text to the right, center or left, respectively, even though it's readonly .
Having used Rich Edit Object for a long time and found practically no greviences, I would really appreciate it if someone would fix the bug. I don't know who does the extension developing over at CT (I hope it's not Yves or Francios, they have enough on their plate) but I would really like it to be fixed soon as a new application deadline is set for this week.
    Thank you!

(By the way, selecting all text, and setting it to left every so often works, but is visible to the user)

    Re: Rich Edit Object bug

    Interesting find!
As a workaround you might be able to remove focus from the Rich Edit Object, even if this means adding an Edit Box that's hidden and setting focus on for the Edit Box
