    Can't hear samples - Win7

    Hi
    I can't seem to hear wav samples in my new installation of MMF2 (r249 beta6) on Windows 7. Midis play well, wavs are mute and they can only be played into a Direct Show object, but through the classic built-in samples feature they are mute, and I can't even hear the preview sound in the Play Sample preview window. Any ideas?

    I use Windows 7 and I'm hearing them just fine. Did you make sure your sound driver is properly installed and configured?

    Sounds work fine in every program and even in editing tools similar to MMF as Adventure Game Studio, so I was wondering if it's a specific issue with MMF.
    Is there anything I can do manually in MMF to check/tweak the access to the system sound resources?
    I forgot to mention my Win 7 is the 64-bit version.

    Now, this IS odd: I can't hear during runtime nor in the preview 'Play Samples' window of the Event Editor only the MONO samples, but the STEREO work fine. And that only happens in MMF2 (normal or HWA).
    I'm totally puzzled!

    I plan bypassing the problem using only OGG files, but still I'd like to understand why that happens with mono WAVs.
