[Start of Frame] vs [Timer equals 00"-00]

[Timer equals 00"-00] seems to be executed earlier than [Start of Frame].

    Is this true?

    That's what it looks like.

If I create an object at [Timer equals 00"-00] and destroy it at the [start of frame] it will be destroyed... but if I do it other way around it won't be destroyed.

    MFA: timer.mfa

Seems that event executed "Timer equals 00-00" earlier than "Start of Frame".

Re: [Start of Frame] vs [Timer equals 00"-00]

"Timer equals 00-01" is earlier than "Start of Frame".

"Timer equals 00-02" is later than "Start of Frame".

Is "Start of Frame" executed delaying behind the frame starts?

Re: [Start of Frame] vs [Timer equals 00"-00]

Timer based events are called 'instant events' they are executed no matter where MM F's call stack currently is.

Since the first frame is draw at 1/50 (framerate) seconds( "00-02" ) it means that "00-00" or even "00-01"; are called before start of frame.

"Start of frame" should be called before the timer has even been started, in my opinion. Otherwise it's not really the start.

It just starts on the first frame when MMF2 sees it.
