    I am just wondering is MS3D a good 3D format for scenes and objects also or is it mainly just used for characters with skeletal animations?

    @Atom: It isn't an optimal but it works if you just need a simple scene.

    @LB: It is the latest extension in the OpenGL collection and can load and render MilkShape 3D models. We are replying with it for our post titles because it's a cheep trick to lure in people who see the "3D" part and go, "Oh! 3D! I gotta check this out!", but that's a secret so don't tell anyone.

    For some reason i cannot get the OpenGL camera object to work with the Simple triangle.mfa. I got the clear control working just fine and also the camera works fine with the MS3D object example and i tried copying the events that uses etc yet it doesn't seem to want to work. If i change the FOV perspective i see that ok but trying to position it doesn't do anything and i looked at the Lua code to see if there was already camera events etc in the way but it seemed fine so i am not sure why it won't work.

    Try removing gl.LoadIdentity() from the Draw function.

    MS3D extension:
    - Added actions and expressions to get/set texture coordinate offset for materials, this is useful for things like running water.
    - Fixed a nasty bug in the Remove object action that caused the runtime to crash when removing more than one object.

    Min, just wondered if you ever get time, could you add an expression to be able to get the verts coordinates. Dont need to modify them, just be able to read them.

    Maybe, but reading all vertices of a model through expressions will be dreadfully slow. What would it be used for?

    Hmm i thought that, but thought you might have more knowledge about that so i didnt say it at first hand.

    Ill have to write my own loader in lua.

    Knowing verts is used for such things as shadowing, shaders ETC.
