Connect the Dots

Hi, I am making a 'connect the dots' type program.

I have 5 bitmaps containing the numbers 1-5 as active pictures.

I want to create an object (line between picture 1 and 2) if the user moves over object 1. I can't figure out how to make this logical comparison. If they move over object 1 with the cursor I change Alterable Value A for Picture 1 to equal one. When they move over object 2 with the cursor I change the value for picture 2. I want :

if
Alterable Value A, Object 1 = 1
&
Alterable Value A, Object 2 == 1 then
create the line between them

Is this possible?

I'm not sure if it will suit your needs, but here is another connect the dots example:

What does that even do? When I test it the star dissapears and all I see are the dots and thier numbers.

Odd... it works for me.

Did you run the mouse over each of the numbered dots in sequence?
