    Broadcast servers existence

Is there a way to make the server broadcast itself to the potential players?

Host application - the user clicks "begin" and the application broadcasts itself across the network

Client application - picks up the signal being sent by the host and gives the option to join the game

Is this possible, if so, any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Re: Broadcast servers existence

    Maybe have something like this:

    Host
    + [Lacewing] On connect
    - [Active] Set internal flag 1 on

    + [Lacewing] On peer connect
+ [Active] Internal flag 1 is on
    - [Lacewing] Select peer by name Peer_Name$( "Lacewing" )
    - [Lacewing] Send text "[Channel name]" to peer on subchannel 0

    [Client]
+ [Lacewing] On text peer message on subchannel 0
    - [Lacewing] Connect to "[Host] on port 6121

    + [Lacewing] On connect
    - [Lacewing] Join channel Received$( "Lacewing" ) (hidden: 0)
