    Backdrop objects limit in HWA

    Hi,
Is there really a limit of 65K backdrop objects per frame?
    Thanks

That's correct, you cannot have more than 65000 objects per frame.

Thank you. 65k objects at total or only backdrop ones?

65000 objects (of any type) at edit time (because the object handles are stored in a 16-bit integer in the CCN file).

At runtime you can create additional backdrop objects (maximum number given by the "maximum number of objects" property in the frame properties).

The maximum object value for a frame seems to be stuck at 20000, which seems like an artificial limitation then. Is there any way to raise this to 65000? I'm mostly interested in using it to generate 20000+ backdrop objects at runtime, which is not possible atm

I think I saw the variable in the SDK somewhere which references the object limit. I wonder if an extension could modify this or if it protected...
