How do I let one file writing event wait for other

    Hi,

I have a small problem, I put global variables to do a file writing and editing process in steps, however one file writing event won't wait for the other.

What I would like is to have the file be written first, then edit the file afterwards.

Is there an easy way to tell the program to wait for the first process and then do the second?

Maybe do a range on a Alterable Variable and do not allow the other event run until the Alterable Variable = 0.

You mean like a counter? The thing is if the file is larger the first writing will take longer

I'm completely stuck, i'll have to have one of these moments where i wake up in the middle of the night with an idea

See what you mean. I didn't think of that. Maybe another forum member can suggest a solution.

Maybe a loop, and compare the loop index?
