    Panic Button System

Just wondering what the best way to achieve this would be.

The best example I can give is that a number of PC's on the same network have this "panic button" software installed.
If a person clicks on the panic button then all the PC's on the network who have the software installed are sent a message.

My question is really what is the best way to achieve sending messages to the PC's with the software installed?

    Cheers

Your best bet would be to use the Lacewing extension to send a message to a server where all the networked computers are connected to via the app, and then interpret that message.

Is there a different way of doing it rather than sending info to the actual server?
What about the Network object? or is that limited to only sending info between just 2 computers?

It's limited to just sending information across a correctly set up network.
Working as fast as I can on Fusion 3

If all your PC's are on the same side of a single router then you can use the Network Object. IF not then you will need a server side app using Moo Click or perhaps Lacewing.

All the PC's would be on the same side of the router so the Network Object could be what I'm after - thanks.
