    Text orientation, missing by design?

Now that we can build mobile apps for tiny screens, making use of the screen space efficiently becomes critical. One thing I've noticed when trying to do just that was the fact that the "Angle" property of the strings is disabled and there is no apparent way to rotate (dynamic) strings.

Is this disabled by design, or is it a mistake? (Or am I just missing something?) And if it is by design, can we have it re-enabled?

    HI,

There is no way to rotate strings in the Java mobile API. It may be possible to do so for normal Java though. I have to look.

Normal java is better than none.
