    Performance logger

This little widget helps you keeping track of if one of your game levels eat too much CPU power compared to the other ones. Just drop it into every frame you want to test, and play a small portion of all your levels, then when you're done, check Performance.ini in the application folder to see how the levels performed compared to each other.

A short period after the frame have loaded, the widget tries to raise the framerate to 1000 fps for a limited time and during it monitors the framerate and object count. Then, when the test period is over, it saves the average values to the log file.

    Re: Performance logger

OK, I have installed that, but I still can't open this. I still get the error that it isn't found! I just looked in my Extensions folder and the only one there is INI++, no INI++15.mfx at all.

I've even ran the installer for both standard and dev and I still can't get it to show up.

Rename it to INI++15.mfx? I think Jack did some crazy naming stuff in previous versions..

    Re: Performance logger

Yeah, something went wrong with the extension name of Ini++ 1.5 but I read that in some thread long ago. I have no idea why this have not been fixed yet, and I would prefer if the extension just came as a .zip and not an installer.

    Re: Performance logger

It is already explained here in the thread. You must install Ini++ 1.5 and rename the extension filesnames so that both the data and runtime filenames become Ini++15.mfx because one of them is incorrectly named Ini++.mfx in the installation process (and thus overwrites the old extension file for Ini++ 1.0 too)

It's wrong, but it's not my fault and I prefer to use the latest extension versions.

    Re: Performance logger

The installer, which I didn't make, was set up wrong and so it was incorrectly named.

Hopefully this Ini++ v1.5 will get sorted out properly soon! Hopefully this week.
