    lacewing tutorials

    Hi,

I was looking at the oinc tutorials, but not all of the menu options are the same in lacewing as they are in oinc.

Is there a tutorial for lacewing?

    Thanks LB,

I'm going to take a look at it now.
Do you know if there is one for the chat too?

I got to a point, but the differences started to be a bit too much. If not, maybe I'll do the oinc for chat, try to convert it, then go back in and see what changed.

There should really not be much of ANY difference at all! What are you talking about that is so different?

BTW a Chat is very simple, I could make a quick example for you if you want

All of the OINC actions/conditions/expressions are there, and some new ones. That's how it's possible to have an MFA converter.

The biggest difference starts to happen around peer looping at 9 min in the video.

There are different options for the peer loops and it's hard to know for sure if you have the right ones.

EX: for the condition of filling a lists with other users:
Is it channel listing get name, or selected channel, selected peer
for Oinc the options is simply peers--on loop

Channel Listing is the list of non-hidden channels on the server, so you can have people host games on channels and other people can see the channel.

Selected Channel is the one that you selected to loop the peers on, which is what you want. Remember you can be connected to several channels at once.
