    Custom Movement - 8 Directions + Look At ?

    Hi guys,
    I have an active object that continuously looks at another active object which has its position tied to that of the mouse cursor. I would like to be able to use WASD to move the first active object around the cursor, with W/S to move the object towards or away from the cursor and A/D to move the object left or right in orbit around the cursor. Is this possible? If so, how?

    I am an idiot - it is an orbit, so I will use the other orbit topics and set the centre as the mouse point and the radius as the distance from the mouse. Oh dear.

    8 Directions is humanly controlled movement and humanly controlled movements don't work with changing direction.

    Why not use two objects? - You set the position of the "look-object" to that of the "8-directions-object".

    ... kinda like a tank that moves in any direction while the turret constantly tracks a target.

    This is what I do and it works nicely.
    Working as fast as I can on Fusion 3
