Ladder Animating problem

When I try to get my character to climb a ladder, he doesn't animate. I'm using the PMO, and I made a ladder active object. How would I get this to work?

I made the animation, and put it in climbing. How do I get it to loop when he climbs?

In the animation editor, click the Direction Options tab and select 'Loop'

I did that, and it still doesn't animate.

Sounds like the event that triggers the animation is a bit retarted. Re-check those events.
