Ladders in PMO not working

Any way I try, I can't seem to implement them at all in the platform movement object engine I'm building, and it's starting to get frustrating that there is no way that it works. I tried active objects, backdrops, and it is always buggy. Any way that anyone can help?

Why can't you do it like all the other animations? It would help us more to help you if we had more information on your events and what isn't working correctly.

It's not only animation, I got that working for a bit, but I'm trying to make it function like ladders in megaman. All I'm asking is for someone to do it, since I don't know how, and I've been trying so many times.
