Chess object

Hello,
I would like to find a way to terminate or end the crafty-23.0-win32.exe chess engine when I restart the frame to start a new game. Many times the program freezes and I need to alt-Ctrl-Del to end the application. I found that the reason of the crashes could be that the crafty-23.0-win32.exe file loads into the system everytime I start the frame for a new game because the code sets ups the chess engine at the beginning of the program causing the file to be loaded multiple times(everytime I restart the frame) into the windows task manager. The new game command from the chess object does not work.

Can you please help me?

I guess the crafty-23.0-win32.exe is the AI thing.

Yes, crafty-23.0-win32.exe is the external chess AI and I have seen it loaded and runing 6 times in the windows task manager.

This Chess object and code was included in the Feb. 2010 Issue of the KlikDisc.

I believe by being loaded several times in the system at once, causes the program to crash often.

I'm trying to figure out a way to flush out of the system the external AI program (Apppath$+"\Engine"\crafty-23.0-win32.exe) everytime I need to restart the frame to begin a new game.

It clears out of the system only when I close the application.
