    Water Wave Effect

As a "side-effect" of my learning process I made a simple "water_wave" using a Lens object.
I think it came out nicely and maybe someone else would be interested to use it.

I will use this effect on a educational game for a local Museum of History. It will be played on a touch screen. And on touch screen this effect look really cool! :-)

P.S. The goblin character is also a "side effect" of testing another software (Zbrush)

a bit too slow and inefficient, I think you could be able to pull off the same effect using a shader and HWA with a much more consistent framerate.

    But good job anyway!

Works fine if you just set the output mode to D3D9. Granted you could get the same effect using a shader but this works just as well, especially if you keep the size of the ripple relatively small. Nice work!

    Re: Water Wave Effect

    Thank you! :-)
I hope you will find it useful!

MechaBowser: I don't understand what do you mean by "slow"? This example works great in my application (standard mode) on quite average (old) computer. Even a couple of dozens big active object doesn't slow it down.

If the water effect itself looks slow to you, then you could make an animation loop faster.

But if someone is willing to transfer this effect to HWA- even better :-) I hope he will make it available for anyone.
