Does timer speed increase with the framerate?

Is timer (time since start of frame in 1/1000 seconds) framerate independent or does it increase in speed when framerate increases?

    any input appreciated

Re: Does timer speed increase with the framerate?

No the timer is always in real time (no speed difference)

It is useful if you need to make custom movements where the FPS should not affect the time it takes for something to happen.
