Simple 2d flash RPG

So I am making a simple 2d rpg using the objects and other stuff from RPG sections of library. So I placed a house from RPG Outdoor and I was wondering how I can make it an object so when you run into door you enter house

Also I was wondering how to make a npc chat dialogue pop up when you run into a npc and that is it for now...I was ask on attaking later...hehe thanks

An RPG in Flash would be difficult. The user would not be able to save their position/location, as flash will not allow you to save and load a file from the server. You may want to consider a stand alone exe in MMF.

lol....you know what I mean it is a 2d flash game like the cheap ones you see on the internet...but anyways..I figured out how to make the house an object now just need to know how to make quest and how to make dialouge boxs pop up

TDK, I think you need to explain yourself a little better. 2D games are 2D games. Calling something "cheap" is a matter of opinion. If you are trying to make a 2D RPG in Flash, it is going to be difficult, as nivram said.

If you go to the "Tutorials" link on the right sidebar, there's a "Dialog Tutorial" that should help you out.

I've no idea what you mean either! You keep on saying a "Flash game" but that it's not a Flash game...

It's worth mentioning that Flash games can save and load data through the INI object (in some sort of cookie-like arrangement) and through an online database.
