I've stumbled on a serious problem while designing a multiplayer online game. It isn't directly related to Clickteam products, but I hope somebody will be able to help me.
If somebody from a LAN connects to a server, then the server's gonna see only the IP of the whole LAN, not the IP of the client.
It's not a problem as long as there's only 1 client from the same LAN, but we can surely assume that there're gonna be many more. And here's the problem - the server is gonna see all of them as the same IP address, so it won't be able to tell apart the players.
Is there any way to make the server tell apart the connections from the same LAN?
