iniplus extension issue

i have some old games that use the iniplus from mmf1
i have downloaded the old iniplus.cox extension and have placed it in its original form in the extension/mmf1 folder
i have also tried renaming it to .mfx to get it to pick it up like that however.
it keeps coming up with the following error message.
"cannot load extension iniplus.mfx"

Can anybody possibly have any enlightenment to my problem?

Patients is the key for the forums. Take a MMF2 extension and copy it to the MMF1.5 folder rename it iniplus.mfx. See if that works.

No, don't do that - just keep it named iniplus.cox and copy it to Extensions\MMF1. You'll then be able to open your CCA and replace it.
