    Some text not vivible

    Hi,

I am using mmf to develope stand alone apps.
Now I exported one app to vitalize web app but some texts in the vitalize app are not vivible (in stand alone app they are visible)

    Who knows the solution?

    Regards, Herbert

Could you upload an example MFA with only strings that dissapear? I don't think I have seen this in vitalize before, normally text is fine.

    Re: Some text not vivible

I have seen this problem before.
Sometimes some of the text in my vitalized apps won't show up on certain computers.
All text shows up fine on my computer, but my roommate's computer will be missing text here and there (no matter what vitalize app I have him try).
There is no rhyme or reason to it either.
I've tried using different browsers, reinstalling the vitalize plugin...but nothing seems to fix this random invisible text bug on my roommate's computer.
Nothing fixes it short of turning all text objects to active objects or backgrounds.
Any updates or help on this issue?

Sounds like a missing font problem.

Perhaps the font his computer uses to replace the font you use is a little bigger or something. Then, it reaches outside the pre-defined box of the string object and for that reason it won't display. I may be wrong though, it is only an assumption.

Ricky Rombo, try cloning some text all over the frame then vitalize it. You will see that some dissapear.

I'll take your word for it.

Try using LB's own Alpha Channel tutorial to turn your string objects into nice looking actives.

I must have been thinking of the Flash Runtime, although that allows including font files so that shouldn't be an issue.

You can include fonts inside the flash application.

    Re: Some text not vivible

So far the only solution I've come up with is to turn text objects into active objects.
You'd think this bug would have been worked out years ago.
