    Answer to my question?

    Hi!

I have used Multimedia Fusion 2 something like couple of months and I have a question.

I am trying to make a new game. The game's camera/view is above the character. You can move with W, A, S and D keys. With mouse you can aim where to shoot and when you click mouse, the character should shoot a bullet towards reticle.

The problem is that character doesn't shoot a bullet when I click. I tested with the keyboard key for example, V, now character shoots the bullet. I'd like to put shooting on clicking the mouse because that's easier to perform in a game. Solution to do this?

That's how I have done it so far.

"User clicks with left button: (character) shoot (bullet) at speed 100 toward (0,0) from (sight)."

I put player one for a character and player two for the sight.

    Please, help?

    Re: Answer to my question?

Have you tried using "Repeat while pressing Left Mouse Button" instead?

    Re: Answer to my question?

The "User clicks" conditions are only triggered for the actual Windows cursor - if you're using an object that's controlled by Mouse movement, then these clicks won't be picked up. Use "Player 2 presses Fire 1" in place of your "User clicks with left button" condition (as your sight is on Player 2) and you should see it working.

Assuming he is just positioning the reticule on the cursor, it should work though. How are you handling this Koboltti?
