    Event Order

This has been a problem for me since the beginning of MMF and just haven't bothered to address it (which is probably my fault).

When I get my program almost finished I notice when I add events here and there, that it causes other events to go haywire and not function properly. I narrowed it down to having the events all out of order on how I would like to have them occur.

Is there some way to arranged what I would like to take place first? Example: Do the events go left to right as far as the object icons are concerned in the event editor?
Do the conditions go from top to bottom when the program runs?

I just woke up to work on my 80% complete App when it worked fine last night and keeps crashing, which happens relatively alot for me. Thanks!

(If my explanation sucks, I will try to reword it)

    Re: Event Order

In the Event List Editor you can modify the order of the events. Per Condition, all the actions are ordered from top (first) to bottom (last). You can simply drag the actions to have them in a different order.

Hopefully this is what you're asking for. :P

    Re: Event Order

Yes, the order of actions can be rearranged (right-click the event number, or use the Event List Editor) - in value-heavy games/applications this can be crucial!

And the event editor goes through all the events in order, top to bottom, and then draws the frame that results from that, so:

Always -> Set counter to 94
Always -> Add 1 to counter

...would result in a counter constantly displaying "95" (it's set to 94, 1 is added to it, it's displayed, and after that frame's been drawn it's set back to 94 again, 1 is added to it... etc).

The exceptions are the events highlighted in red, such as "On loop" and keypresses, which are handled immediately when they're called.
